The Curse of Carlos Arroyo

What's wrong with the Miami Heat? It's a question that has been discussed, analyzed, thrown around ad nauseum during the past 2 weeks.

Miami Heat team officials are now diagnosing the recent slump as "The Carlos Arroyo Curse." Arroyo being a former Heat player who was cut recently to make room for Mike Bibby's smoldering, decapitating corpse.

Since then they've lost 4 games in a row and 5 out of 6, many at the buzzer.

When asked what's the plan of action President of Basketball Operations Pat Riley said, "We've hired a Witch Doctor to come into the locker room and break the spell."

Erick Spoelstra also added, "It probably wasn't a good idea to cut the only Latino player before Noche Latina."

Noche Latina being Latin Night.

Carlos Arroyo refused to comment as he was seen updating the "Carlos Arroyo Curse" fan page on Facebook.
