SPORTS WITH FONZ: WHAT A SUNDAY FOR FOOTBALL.....

What a weekend for football. Any and everything went on this Sunday from  upsets to the Lions getting there first win since 2007.  Sunday the Lions final snapped there 19 game losing streak in a win over the Washington Redskins.  With Stafford making some good decisions and some sharp throws not only got the city of Detroit behind him, but a win up under the Lions belt.  We all know that wins don't come easy.  And the Bengals know all about that with a fight to the end with the defending champs Pittsburgh Steelers.  After losing a game due to a tipped pass which would've had the Bengals at the top of there division if they would've won.  Sunday the Bengals made sure that wasn't gonna happen again especially when Johnathan Joseph took a Ben Roethlisberger pass the other way on a interception, and returned it for a touchdown.  And a last  minute drive by Carson Palmer sealed the deal for the Bengals.  Vick's return wasn't exactly what everyone expected it to be.  With only one rush for 7 yards and throwing two incomplete passes Vick never got a chance to get into a rhythm seeing that they put Kolb in after one series.  Even though Kolb got the win and seemed like the better fit for the game.  I think they should give Vick the chance he deserves even if he puts both McNabb, and Kolb on the bench.  The Vikings Tavarus Jackson knows all about being on the bench every since Brett Favre came along.  With all the talk about Favre being to old, and bringing him in to Minnesota could be a bad idea.  All that talk has been ceased about Favre not being able to play.  Starting the season off 3-0 and after Sunday's last minute throw I'd say he hasn't lost a step.   The Fonz
