Dear Lil Kim, or Queen Bee, or Kimberly Jones, or whatever it is you go by, you used to be one of the coldest female emcees in the game. That verse you dropped on that 'Quiet Storm' remix??? SHEESH! Then you would eventually drop 'The Naked Truth' and become the first female to receive 5 mics from The Source. You was really doin' ya thing as far as solidifying your spot as a top female artist in a male dominated rap game. Then you did a little bid, which earned you a great amount of street credit. After that, you kinda kept a lower profile and there's nothing wrong with that, even though that 'Dancing With The Stars' stint was super cheesy. Lol. But it is what it is. You got paid.

Meanwhile...

This little chick from Queens, New York emerged on a Lil Wayne mixtape called 'Da Drought 3'. Her name was Nicki Minaj. You might've heard of her. I don't know. But I DO know, that she was pretty decent. She went on to drop a few mixtapes of her own, eventually release an album, and as of right now,it's pretty safe to say that she is THE chick in the rap.

Seems like you're a bit upset with that. But why?

Don't get me wrong, Kim. I wasn't the biggest fan of Nicki either when I first heard her. I didn't really like the subject matter of what she rapped about. It reminded me of a younger you. But then, just like you, she proved that she could really spit and her raps were no longer just about bags, shoes, and sex. I heard her verse on 'Monster' and that was when I knew that I would support this chick.

But YOU?

You seem kind of bitter towards ole girl. It seems like you're unhappy with her success. You've taken shots at her on stage at shows, made a few diss songs, even released a whole mixtape called 'Black Friday' which is basically a mockery of her 'Pink Friday' album and has you on the cover chopping off her head. Sheesh! Does Nicki being on top really annoy you that bad? I've seen where you said she should "pay homage" and all this other stuff, but real talk, Nicki is BETTER than you right now. Lyrically she's killin'. She's doin' all kinds of numbers, and she's simply better to look at than you are. You lookin' like Snooki from Jersey Shore these days and we don't really know how to feel about that.

But no, seriously. Instead of downing Nicki every chance you get, you should salute her. You definitely are one of the trailblazers when it comes to female emcee's. Nicki knows this whether she out-right says it or not. So instead of being bitter towards something you helped create, be proud. You don't see Michael Jordan talkin' down on players like Kobe, D. Rose, Lebron. Why? Because he knows his time has come and gone and now it's time for the new generation to show & prove. Plus he's pushin' 50. And you pushin' 40! So just cool out. You're putting out terrible music and tarnishing your legacy by trying to use Nicki to regain relevance. Would you be at her so hard if she wasn't so hot? I doubt it. So chill. Try to do a song with her in the near future. Do somethin' else besides what you're doin', which is basically hating. Prove to people that unity exists among females in the rap game. Otherwise you need to just "hang it up. Flatscreen".
