Good post, however i think you should be careful in defining the terms you use. In the video it sounds as though you are using spirituality and religion interchangeably and they are not the same.  What exactly is a believer and non-believer? What does it mean to be saved?  It seems that overall Christians are striving to be Christ-like and I don't think Jesus would mind if Christians dated non-believer.  Additionally, was Jesus not a Jew? I know he wasn't a Christian because no such thing existed at the time. Are you equating non-believer with a wickedness and darkness? If so, are you not casting judgement? Is being Christian in 2010 American society being conflated with purity? How can one truly expect another individual to take the same spiritual and religious walk as his/herself? Would one not be the ULTIMATE CHRISTIAN if he or she could accept and love one who is of another faith? Would it not make one stronger to date a non-believer? Some of the most Christ-like people are "non-believers". Is there no in-between? To not agree is not the same as disagreeing, there is a such thing equivocality? Are you using the bible or political structure to inform your arguments and opinions? It would be nice if you addressed the gray area as gray area...

is called "evangelistic dating" lol! that when u try 2 get sum1 saved,
so U can be wit them in a relationship. this is the biggest mistake ive
seen happen in the church!

Dont be unequally yoked....Thats it...plain as day...

Dating and Engagements: Here are a few key questions you may want to ask?

1. Are they really committed to a personal relationship with Jesus Christ?

2. Who created your relationship? God or you?

3. Is your relationship a result of impatience or loneliness?

4. Do they have a contentious spirt?

5. Are they lazy or do they have a poverty stricken mentality?

6. Do they have good common sense (understanding)?

7. Are they under generational sins or curses that could affect your relationship?

8. Will this relationship hinder or distract you from your relationship with Jesus Christ?

And most importantly........

9. Did you ask God before making your decision??????

These are a few questions taken out of my topical bible and I myself do not believe that Christians should date non Christians. Like Oil and water they just dont mix! 

I think It's more difficult to date or be with anyone in the church more than out in the world! Those are the worst (dating someone in the church).

I agree with you totally as I had to learn the hard way recently. Marriage and friendship is a very serious thing as well as dating. Who you are around will in turn be who you are as a person so why would I not want to be with God and godly people? I know myself having been through the worst I can wait for the best to come in my future. 

If you as a Christian believer ARE a Christian believer than you know as well as I do that God WILL  bring your mate TO YOU and not make  you search for him. I learned that the hard way and that's why I say to all the young and old (im 26 years young) just wait and ask God..when you look you tend to find all the wrong things in all the wrong places.

So many ppl aren't dating to marry - and that's a whole other issue. It places different emphasis on why you're dating. Dating doesn't have to lead to physical or even emotional intimacy.
But if you are dating with marriage in mind, then you have to consider what the scripture advises. If you're thinking that it's going to be a serious ... See Morerelationship, you should consider what your core values are. If those don't match, or aren't even compatible, then you're setting yourself up.

Tight Vid Street. I've studied this subject matter a lot. for weeks I studied it. Other points to be added, even if you date someone who believes in the Gospel, but doesn't follow it, it still would be unwise to be yoked, because ya'll are on different spiritualy levels. But Yav I've got a question for you tho, what about someone who wants to get in their walk, and wants to get in church, they believe, but don't nessacarily follow..what you think??
