The last time Stalley was in Columbus, Ohio, he was newly signed to Rick Ross' Maybach Music Group imprint and not too far removed from the release of his first major project Lincoln Way Nights.
Friday, July 13th Stalley returns to Columbus for the fourth installment of AnimalHouse. With quality music in the streets, an ever growing fan base and AnimalHouse's reputation, this looks to be a promising return for him.
Stalley has recently summoned the talents of DJ Bandcamp who hails from Cincinnati, by way of Youngstown, Ohio, The two are fresh off of a european leg of the tour.. If you've seen any of his recent vlogs, it's pretty safe to say that Stalley is getting as much love overseas as he is in the states.
His most recent project, and first under the MMG brand, Savage Journey to the American Dream was released on March 30th of this year, or 3/30 which is also synonymous with the area code of where he's from. Stalley might be the headliner this time around, but the other artists on the AnimalHouse bill have proven to be just as promising and will only add to the already highly anticipated craziness of this show.
Let's start with Kentucky emcee Nemo Achida. Oh you didn't think there were rappers in Kentucky? Well there are; good ones. Nemo has been around for a while
and has some pretty dope projects under his belt, including his Nemotional LP that dropped last year. He is currently signed to 88 Keys' Locksmith Music and is gearing up for his upcoming album Conversations With Myself, due out July 17th.
Chicago has always been consistent a hotbed of musical talent. Up and coming Windy City native Chance The Rapper is no exception. His recent 10Day mix-tape has received rave reviews from all across the hip-hop community. He and his Save Money crew are well-known in the Midwest.
Last but not least is a hometown hero and Columbus' own Vada. Vada is no newcomer to the AnimalHouse scene. He's actually performed here before under the moniker LxEForTheUncool. Recently he’s been working along side Stalley's BCG group and has plenty of new material on the way. You can expect to hear his new tunes at AnimalHouse.
Providing the music will be Columbus' own DJ Durl and DJ Bandcamp. Dez Arnez will be the host for the evening.
