Youtube Carousel: NHL Live

Welcome back to the second episode of Youtube Carosuel and as always I'll be your conductor this evening. This is going to be a new weekly feature on Kingsrowe.com where I can combine my gift of daily mindless surfing on Youtube and make a blog post out of it. Here was last week's inaugral post(http://kingsrowe.com/blog/comedy/youtube-carousel-lets-nba).

I'll almost always try to make it relevent with a current event and this week I've decided to surf Youtube for NHL related videos since tonight is the premiere of HBO's 24/7: Road to the Winter Classic featuring the Flyers and Rangers. So I know a lot of you don't really follow hockey because you most of the players are white guys from rural Canada and or have names like Ilya or Frk but it's a pretty exciting sport.

As always here are the rules of Youtube Carousel in italics. 

The rules are simple I'll start at a specific destination and continue to click on the related videos on the side and see where it takes us. For example watch a video, then click on the 1st related video on the side, then click on the 2nd related video, then 3rd related video and so forth and so forth. I hope I made that as simple as possible for you simpletons. 

So now that we're all familarized with the rules here's the first video...

First video is the Penguins veterans hazing the rookies of the team while they're out for dinner. Penguins enforcer Matt Cooke gets blamed but it's really Marc Andre Fluery who's behind the prank.

Alexander Ovechkin shaving before a Gillete promotional tour. This video is boring until you remember Oveckhin is a quirky Russian fucker. His pregame ritual always involves having sex before the game. 

Doesn't this guy remind you of a James Bond villain?

Third video on the Carousel belongs to...

Before the Winter Classic every year the legends of the two teams competing lace them up and play a friendly match. Wouldn't you watch old NBA players squeeze into their jerseys and shoot some hoops?

Tell me you're not watching Charles Barkley bloated body v Darryl Dawkins bloated body in a friendly post comatose All Star friendly.

This is why I'm excited about 24/7: Road to the Winter Classic. You get to see the behind closed doors stuff that you never get to see anywhere else. 

Who woulda thought NHL players were this much fun?

Matt Cooke getting upstaged by Matt Cooke's son. "I SKIPPED SCHOOL!" That's the NBA's promo too. Seventh video could be the funniest video I've ever seen.

I don't know what's funnier. Snoop Dogg watching an Anaheim Ducks game. Scott Oake who was in the running for whitest guy in Canada which puts you up there for whitest guy worldwide calling Snoop Dogg his nephew or Scott Oake calling Snoop one of the world's greatest contemparary artists of all time. 

Listen if Snoop Dogg is a huge hockey fan you can be too.
