Guest Post: The Female Sneakerhead vs. The Ultimate Feminine by Breyanne

I'm always interested in hearing a female's stance on footwear, both feminine and atheletic. So here we go. I'ma just sit back and let the homegirl Breyanne explain in this guest post.

So I have been hearing a lot of squabbling about this
“battle” of the ladies and our ideal footwear. Some women prefer to be an
ultimate feminine because they firmly believe that there is no such thing as
a “lady” in sneakers; it is un-ladylike to walk around looking like you are
always prepared to hop on the basketball court. While others, those who fancy
being a female sneakerhead, argue women who prefer to wear heels everyday are
snobbish and stuck up and probably put themselves on a pedestal. I have even
seen females take stabs at each other on twitter about this topic.

Although fully entertaining, I just don't see the point of trash talking other people's partialities. However, being the curious female
that I am, I conducted a mini-survey using a sample of men and popped the
question; which footwear would you rather see a lady sporting?

I asked myself which “type” of woman I was. Well, I can you
tell the entire history of Nike and in the same breath name every style and
color selection of Jessica Simpson’s shoe line. I need variety because some
days “I’m on my cool Js”, and others I am feeling real Beyonce-ish. So
personally, I consider myself a hardcore mixture of the two. I have nothing
negative to say to say about either party because I enjoy the perks of both. I
know this battle is far from over; I plan to just sit back and enjoy the
debate. So, which is the most preferable woman? A P.Y.T. rocking a pair of
fresh Cool Greys or a classy lady in a pair of vibrant red bottom pumps?

I personally like both depending on the setting. How about you?
