Marc Dolce breaks down the inspiration of the Nike Zoom Rookie LWP

After watching this video I have a new found respect for the Nike Zoom Rookie LWP as a hybrid shoe. Two and a half years to develop this shoe... Thats crazyyyy.

Mr Dolce put a lot of history into the shoe, plenty of inspiration and what I like most is that they used different elements from each shoe that best adds to the performance of the overall product. He watched videos of penny versus working with him directly to build the shoe to his strenths and weaknesses. I found that to be pretty clever.

In my opinion, this is how a hybrid shoe should be made; not just for style but to continue on with striving for performance in the product as well. I actually feel proud to own a pair now that I know more of the backround info on the shoe. I was aware of what shoes combined made it up, but the way this product was crafted screams PENNY !!!!
