SPORTS WITH FONZ: MAURICE CLARETT OUT THE CUFFS & BACK ON CAMPUS
We all have a past, and some leave a lot in their past such as ex-Buckeye "Maurice Clarett. By the looks of things, he is trying to get back on track with his enrollment back into OSU. Maurice Clarett, the former Ohio State football player who spent more than three years in prison, is again a student, the university announced on Monday. Clarett started classes on Monday, after the university allowed him reentry. This is a surreal feeling to be back at Ohio State in such a supportive environment," Clarett said in a statement. "I have looked forward to being back in school and I'm doing my best to fit in with other students. I don't want to be a distraction or nuisance to the football team or to students on campus."
With Clarett enrolling back into OSU makes me laugh beause he spent so much time trying to get out of school. Then landed in prison where he spent more time in prison (3 1/2 years) than he did in school. But at the same time, I'm happy for him. Because of what he did, people will never let it go and neither will they forget. But atleast he's put it behind him and is moving foward with his life.
