Diddy Signs Machine Gun Kelly

As another chapter in the 'Ohio Takeover' unfolded, I almost crashed my whip upon receiving this news. Although, I kinda saw it coming, it was now official. Machine Gun Kelly had been signed to Diddy and Bad Boy Records. Not only was he signed as an artist, but #EST is no longer just the name of his cult following. It is now a label.

Personally, I can't really put in words how proud I am right now. I'm proud not only because that's the homie, but because I've been a fan and supporter since day one and have witnessed damn near first hand what it took for him to reach this point. It's always an amazing feeling watching something grow, sharing someone's dream, and then watching it come to fruition.

Talent is cool, but hard work is what gets you to the main stage. Not only hard work, but having a strong team behind you. Slim, Dre, Xplo and especially Ash have put their all in to helping MGK achieve his dream and now that day is here.

It's a big day for not only Cleveland, but the whole state of Ohio and also the entire Midwest. #LaceUp!
