If He Won't Credit You Kingsrowe Will !
The purpose of this blog is to bring justice to the homie Michael Scrivner (@yoscrib). As you may know the new comer, Blake Griffin, is our NBA 2011 slam dunk contest champion. Do any of you remember how he came up with that dunk that closed the deal? Well a Columbus native seems to remember quite well and B Griff doesn't seem to. Why is that? We are still confused ourselves. Scrivner was watching ESPN Febuary 8th & noticed Griffin was requesting slam dunk ideas from his fans so he figued he'd shoot him some buckeye genius via twitter.
I actually watched a video on Youtube of Griff reviewing some videos of dunks that fans had submited in for consideration. BLAKE, YOU EVEN GAVE @KILLERJUNIOR23 his credit for a dunk you didn't use, yet no proper citation for the dunk you actually used. Now I know Blake went to college and he's written his fair share of essays. So Blake you know you have to provide proper citation when borrowing from a source. I mean if we ask nice enough can we or he get a complimentary pair of og BG35 hyperdunks by any chance?
Griffin or his camp has yet to respond reguarding the accusations. TMZ actually brought light to the story and people around the U.S. are now commenting. I must say, I never expected this from someone I interact with on a day to day basis. Griffin is an amazing talent which we all know, but would we classify this as a grade "A" Swagger jack?
Check out the TMZ link below and also leave us some comments here at Kingsrowe on your thoughts. As I always say, Ohio was jacked for greatness yet again smh.
