7.2 magnitude earthquake just south of the U.S. and Mexico border.

Another earthquake near Los Angeles! Sunday afternoon, a 7.2 magnitude Mexicali earthquake struck just south of the U.S. and Mexico border. It was first reported as a 6.9 quake by the U.S. Geological Survey, but was
deemed .3 points stronger later in the day.

Either way, it was enough
to make high rises sway in downtown San Diego and Los Angeles, and was
felt across parts of Arizona. There were also 3 strong aftershock quakes
that resulted from the big one, including 5.1, 4.5, and 4.3 scares.
