Whats better than saying I signed a 5-year contract extension for $125 million dollars?  That I'm "Black" and signed a 5- year contract extension $125 million dollars.  Ryan Howard isn't just one of the best baseball players these days, but he's a rich one too. 

The slugging first baseman agreed to a $125 million, 5-year contract extension Monday that could keep him with the Phillies until 2017.  Ryan Howard is one of four players to hit at least 40 home runs and have 130-plus RBIs in four straight seasons. Being in the company of Babe Ruth, Sammy Sosa, Ken Griffey Jr.  And being a Two time All-Star wit two trips to the World Series, and winning the championship in 2008.  It was just a matter of time for the Phillies to get Howards John Hancock on the dotted line of a fresh contract.  

"I tell you what, it's a great feeling to have that security and know where you're going to be," Howard said. "I feel what I've been doing over the last couple of years, I feel pretty confident that down the road, I'll be right where I want to be and still doing the same things."
