SPORTS WITH FONZ: DURON CARTER DEPARTS FROM OSU & MOVES ONTO JUCO
Well looks like we won't be seeing anymore Duron Carter in a OSU uniform. The Once OSU receiver has been ruled academically ineligible this season. As he was for Rose Bowl against Oregon and sat out all of spring practice because of academic reasons. Since Duron Carter is ineligible for the season. He'll be transfering to a Juco college in Kansas where he'll play this season. Ohio State to Juco is some move I'll tell you, but to get back in front of that OSU crowd, I guess there's some things you gotta do.
Duron Carter appeared in all 12 regular-season games for Ohio State as a true freshman in 2009 and recorded 13 receptions for 176 yards and a touchdown. The departures of Ray Small and Carter leave Ohio State with only two wide receivers who recorded more than 10 receptions last year. With Carter being ruled out as the third wideout, who'll step up to the plate for the Bucks?
