For the third time in his career, Lebron James wins the league MVP, averaging 27.1 points 7.9 rebounds and 6.2 assists, to go along with 53 percent shooting and 1.9 steals per game. James has had a very impressive season. With stats like this you'd think he'd be able to follow it up with a NBA title; that would be a great finish to his MVP season. With his third MVP award, James joins some of the greats that have also won three MVP's. In NBA history, only seven other players—Michael Jordan, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Bill Russell, Wilt Chamberlain, Larry Bird, Magic Johnson and Moses Malone have won at least three MVP awards.
Now with the regular seaon greatness out of the way, can Lebron James do the same in the playoffs?
