SPORTS WITH FONZ: LSU VS. ALABAMA MEET FOR A SHOWDOWN IN THE SEC!
I don't want to make any perdictions for this game, but I believe a strong defense will get you a win. And with that I can truly say that Alabama has one of the fastest, toughest defenses in all of college football; and with 17 sacks and 9 interceptions you can see how they attack a offense. Oh yeah, and add that on top of a tough running game. Trent Ricardson, is coming into the game with 989 yards and 17 TD. But for Bamas strong defense LSU has a offense that is putting up some impressive numbers this year. LSU has averaged 39.8 points and 394.3 yards in its past four games, entering the Alabama game, starter Jarrett Lee's passing efficiency is an SEC high 157.4 and he has 13 touchdowns and just one interception to go along with it (he has thrown at least one TD In every game this year, setting a LSU record).
It's hard to say who has the upper hand in this week's game. Lee's one interception, and Alabama's 9 interceptions makes it an interesting thought on how LSU will attack Alabama. With a passing efficiency of 157.4 Alabama may have to bring the pressure every down. Les Miles will also have to figure out a way to contain a offense with the hard running of Trent Richardson. His 17 TD shows that the kid has a nose for the end zone. With both teams being the best in college football at one and two, expect an emotional game with both teams fighting until the end and leaving it all on the field. This could possibly be our SEC championship.. or better yet, the real national championship game. "I don't want to make a prediction, but I'll say Alabama will come out on top 34-24"
