Former Rutgers defensive tackle Eric Legrand got the call he would've never expected, and it came from The Tampa Bay Buccaneers. While playing at Rutgers, Legrand was paralyzed on a play while making a tackle. That play would change his life. Of course with this tragic incident Legrand wouldn't be able to play the game of football ever again. However, there are some people that still recognize the love, character, and perserverance in Eric Legrand. So Monday the Buccaneers called to inform Eric's mother and himself about the announcement that they were going to sign him. Although they can't give him any money due to the salary cap, it's still a nice gesture and shows that people still care about other's dreams.
