MINOR EARTHQUAKE RATTLES NORTHEAST OHIO

Ohio over the weekend. The U.S. Geological Survey says Saturday night's quake off the Lake

Ahmadinejad: "Iran too 'mighty' to attack"
During an annual army parade, President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad proclaimed that Iran's army is so powerful today that no country would dare to attack it.
""Iran's army is so mighty today that no enemy can have a foul thought of
invading Iran's territory," the Iranian leader said, according to state
media."

BREAKING NEWS: OSU SHOOTING LEAVES 1 DEAD 3 WOUNDED
Three university police were shot, one of them fatally, in an attack early tuesday morning on campus university police said. The alleged shooter is in custody said OSU police chief Paul Denton.

Dozens Killed in Turkey Earthquake

A strong, pre-dawn earthquake knocked down stone and mud-brick houses, barns and minarets in eastern Turkey on Monday, killing 51 people in five villages, the government said.
The earthquake surprised many residents as they slept, crumpling buildings into piles of rubble. Panicked survivors fled into narrow viallage streets, some climbing out of windows, as nearly 80 aftershocks measuring up to 5.5 and 5.3 magnitude rattled the region.

Haiti Earthquake: Thousands Feared Dead
A massive hurricane measuring a whopping 7.3 on the richter scale hit Haiti today causing the collapse of several government buildings including the presidential palace and hospitals. The earthquake knocked out all levels of communication making it virtually impossible to get an accurate account of casualties. Authorities fear the number of feared dead are in the thousands and will continue to grow as rescue efforts increase. Katie Couric was able to speak with the ambassador about the disaster.
