Homage to Black Barbie

Vogue Italy edition will be re-releasing their July 2008 edition that pays homage to the top Black models in the fashion industry: Naomi Campbell, Tyra Banks and Chanel Iman just to name a few. However, this edition will be a little different from last year's! This year feature the iconic Barbie!!! Franca Sozzani (editior of Vogue Italy) says, “Barbie has been an icon for whole generations which is why I really wanted to give a strong sign in step with the times, and dedicate the anniversary issue to black Barbie.” No official work when the magazine will hit the shelves but keep a watch on your local retailers.
